Selling your home...in a down economy.

If you currently have your home on the market, most likely you have experienced some real frustration with with getting prospects to "bite" in this market.
As you may be aware, the kitchen is one of the largest factors in attracting home buyers. Price and location are not things you can easily control, but value is. Many home sellers in today's market are downsizing and hoping to eke out some cash and so have little ready cash to spend what is needed to replace a tired kitchen.
Here are some tips to get the most change in your kitchen, for the least money:
1. Change the countertops. Especially if you have older laminate or solid surface, you may want to consider granite or a quartz product for a dramatic new look.
2. If the existing cabinets are sound but worn, paint them, or simply glaze them! for less thank $60 you can do it yourself and get great results. Tired white cabinets look great just adding glaze!
3. Add crown molding, light rail, and other accent moldings to "dress up the look! If you already have these accents, consider a color change.
